Realistic R-12
I believe this radio to be from the late 60's or early 70's. (I'll look into it soon and update this listing). Very cool design resembling a speedometer or tachometer. Features include a BIG tuning window, rear mounted speaker, side mounted thumbwheel dials for tuning and volume/on-off and a metal stand which can fold in, allowing the radio to stand on up on two small feet located on the rear of the cabinet.

Sanyo released the AM/FM "Tachrad" radio (model #F-8410R) around the same time as this Realistic. I assume "Tacrad" was an abbreviation of TACHometer and RADio.
Realistic "Hi Fiver" box
Here is the shipping box for the Realistic "Hi-Fiver" transistor radio. It is in very good condition considering it's about 50 years old.
The bottom number is the catalog number from the Radio Shack catalog. Don't try and order it now, it's probably out of stock.
